Chiara Ferella


Chiara Ferella (PhD Pisa 2011) studied Classics at the Universities of L’Aquila, Cambridge, Pisa and Munich. She has published on pre-Socratics, the Derveni Papyrus and on metaphor use in early Greek philosophy. Since 2015 she is a post-doctoral Fellow at the Excellence Cluster Topoi in Berlin, within the Research Group C-2 Space and metaphor in cognition, language, and texts. At present, she is working on a research project exploring metaphor use in early Greek philosophical discourse.
